Our greens shouldn’t travel more than we do! We grow our greens in local farms and sell our products locally. This approach allows us to harvest our greens in the morning and deliver afternoon, as fresh as possible!

Based on OECD reports, over 70% of freshwater is used for agriculture.

While 250 Lt water is required to grow 1 Kg of lettuce in traditional agriculture, we use less than 20 Lt water to grow the same amount of product at LocalGreens.

We use only certified and non-GMO seeds.

Our controlled growing environment protects our greens from illnesses and harmful pests that naturally come from soil and allow us to grow without pesticides.

We collect the rainwater and use it to feed our vegetables. More than 30% of water required by the vegetables is provided this way.

Based on the reports, number of farmers has decreased 50% in the last 13 years.

Around 20% of fresh vegetable is going waste during intercity transportation.

+90% of fresh vegetables consumed in İstanbul is produced and transported from other cities.
